Calling All Mahjong Players: Your Dream Tournament Has Arrived.

You know the game. You love the game. Now come play it at one of La Jolla's favorite spots. THE LOT La Jolla and ZENTRL Kitchen + Bar are hosting an exclusive Mahjong Tournament — an afternoon for American Mahjong players who are ready to bring their A-game, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and compete for the title (and the prizes).  

Warning: competitive spirits are welcomed and encouraged!  

Event Flow

• 11:00 AM — Check in and get your table assignment. Get settled, meet your opponents, enjoy refreshments and snacks from the junk bar, and get ready to play. 

• 11:30AM  — Tournament begins, Game on! May the best players win.  

• 2:30 PM — Tournament wraps. Prize ceremony for winners.

• Reserved seat in “Let’s Mahjong” The Tournament

Price: $42 per person 

Please Note: "Let's Mahjong!" The Tournament is intended for players with prior American Mahjong experience. This event will not include beginner instruction, rules explanation, or first-time gameplay support. Guests should be comfortable with standard American Mahjong gameplay before booking. All ticket inclusions are valid for Wednesday, May 27, 2026 only. Included junk bar access and complimentary refreshments must be redeemed during the event and cannot be transferred to another date, time, or person. No substitutions, modifications, refunds, or exchanges. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the tournament on May 27, 2026. Prizes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged or substituted. By attending, you consent to photography and video recording for use in marketing and promotional materials. Venue is ADA accessible. Ticket has no cash value.
